My name is David Baker, Assistant Manager at Tom Bannen Chevrolet Collision Center. I have been in the Collision Repair Industry for 31 years. Being an Estimator and Assistant Manager in the Body Shop is very rewarding. I try to relate my position to being a Doctor. Most people never want to go to a Doctors office, but they are extremely glad that the Doctor is there when needed. We constantly are increasing our education and strive to keep up on the latest technology that affects our industry. The most important part of my job is comforting someone after they have damaged one of the most expensive investments they have. My work involves a close working relationship with the insurance industry which helps to navigate through a customer’s policy to repair their car. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a smile on a face when we have repaired their car and hopefully exceeded all their expectations.
